Best Purschase Ever
My son absolutly LOVES this. I bought one for my nephew awhile back but it did not come with the extra caboos. There is no bottom to this, just FYI. However I think this is a plus so you don't have to worry about dirt getting stuck inside or the kids wripping the fabric. I wish the train had an open flap for the window, but the door on the side is sufficient. The best part of this is it all folds up to fit inside a bag (about the size of your reusable cloth supermarket bag)....which the train comes packaged in (make sure you note how it is folded before you unfold it the first time! This is a great product and since it's light my 22 month old can drag it into whatever room he wants to play with it in (and it's soft so it doesn't scratch the walls or floor)

Totally worth the money...maybe?
Love this thing. It's built a good bit stronger than the design of the Thomas Engine by itself we'd purchased a few years back. My only complaint is that the two cars don't stick together *that* well, but if you are crafty, you can add some velcro to the top circles and link them up better.
Edit (1/8/2015) - I've never gone back to edit a review before, so understand I am unhappy. I left my original review above.
When we got this, we were *thrilled*. It seemed very durable, to the point of being stronger than our original. But here we are a month after purchase, and it's solidly damaged from "regular use." The seams on the "protected" openings appear to just "give" after a few tugs, and once that ward is broken, the fabric it's made of tears without too much difficulty. I'm not pleased with this. Our first Thomas Train made it three YEARS before suffering such damage. The kids don't care...but it's on my Nerve.

Cheap made product with Terrible customer service
Okay, so I was very disappointed when I opened this. I agree with some other reviewers that the material is very cheap especially for the price. I expected a nylon type material, but this is a papery-like material that you can even see through. I feel that the pictures are very deceptive and even worse when I tried contacting the Playhut company to discuss some of the issues they will not answer their customer service calls. You get a voice mail where you leave a message which I did more than once and have never gotten a call back. So, I emailed them asking them to please call me and still no phone call. Terrible customer service!!! This shows me that they do not care what I think therefore I want to warn you before you make this purchase.

Great BIG gift for a SMALL apartment
Great BIG gift for a SMALL apartment, absolutely love that I can fold it up and stick it behind a piece of furniture when we want it out of sight. And yet is such a big source of fun when we take it out. It ripped a little, but I found out later it was my husband's fault! :) I guess adults should be a little more careful roughhousing in something like this.

The kids love this. But they're destructive little jerks who king konged it and bent it all up.

Easy Assemply, Favorite New Toy
Purchased for a four year-old. He is ecstatic; there was literal airtime when he saw it! It assembles itself, pretty much; it literally pops up. Putting it in the bag was harder, but not too difficult. However, I really don't think taking it down will be much of an issue since my nephew really doesn't want to come out and when he does, he pulls the front and cries "Choo, Choo!" I hope his mom can forgive me...

My six year old grandson who has high functioning autism, loves the Thomas Train stuff and apparently this tent he really loves too!

Awesome: Folds Down Flat
We bought this one to replace a very old Thomas tent with rips in it. Made of breathable mesh, both the caboose and the little smoke stack attach with sewn-in Velcro. The best part is that it folds down completely flat (see my photo) for easy storage. My boys (1 and 3) will love it for an upcoming birthday party!

Good Price Point
Not as sturdy as I thought it would be...the wire or whatever the material is that makes it "pop up," is weak in a couple of spots and will not bend back to original position...a little "lopsided"....the material the entire tent is made from feels as if it could tear easily...however, my grandchildren love it and it is not a bad purchase for the price point. In defense of the product, my grandchildren are 2 and 3 years old and somewhat rough....no product will last forever during the "terrible 2's and 3's" of toddlers!

Great for any Thomas fan!
This Thomas Playhut is fantastic! We bought it for our 3 year old for his birthday. He is a huge Thomas fan and we knew any Thomas toy would make him happy. We are so glad we chose this! As soon as he opened it, we had to take it out of the box so he could climb inside. It popped open and was ready to play with within seconds. We were pleasantly surprised with how big it is. It comes with two pieces - the Thomas engine and a separate train car. You can play with them separately or attached to make one long train. There is plenty of room for 2-3 small children or 1 child and 1 adult! It is easy to lay flat and store too! There are directions to fold both pieces up to store it in a bag that comes with it. The directions are a little confusing but not enough to really complain.
